The Whatcom Conservation District partnered with WSU’s AgWeatherNet and several gracious landowners to install 6 new weather stations across Whatcom County. The stations provide near real-time measurements (updated every 15 minutes) of precipitation, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and soil moisture and temperature. The goal of these new stations is to give farmers and residents more localized weather and soil data to inform decisions about farming and irrigation activities. Find a station near you!

All of the data is publically available and hosted on AgWeatherNet’s website: http://weather.wsu.edu/.
