Board of Supervisors

A five-member volunteer Board of Supervisors governs the Whatcom Conservation District and serves as the District's policy-making body.

Board members are elected by Whatcom County voters or appointed by the Washington State Conservation Commission. All board members serve three-year terms. There are three elected positions and two appointed positions. Two of the elected seats and one of the appointed seats must be filled by a Whatcom County Landowner or an operator of a farm.

Board members attend monthly business meetings, develop policies, establish long-range priorities, approve annual work plans and budgets, and represent WCD in the community.

You can contact board members using the email addresses listed below or contact the Executive Director, who is available to connect you with your elected and appointed representatives.
