About the event

This annual event brings regional farmers together to explore new methods and opportunities for enhancing dairy management. The focus is on climate-smart practices and strategies that not only protect natural resources but also boost operational efficiency and earnings. Attendees will hear from local agencies and industry experts about maximizing farm productivity and adopting sustainable methods that can improve both environmental stewardship and the bottom line.   

Registration opens at 8:00 am. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.   

Topics for this year’s event topics include: 

  • Climate-Smart Agriculture West of the Cascades: What’s the real payoff? Learn how and when climate-smart practices can boost productivity and protect your bottom line. 
  • On-Farm Electrification: Why switch to electric? Slash costs, boost efficiency, and cut emissions. Learn how to secure grants, incentives, and feasibility studies for a smooth, profitable transition. 
  • Business Strategy & Financial Planning: Get practical tips on navigating current dairy market challenges.
