We support landowners of all sizes in Whatcom County with fish bearing streams in aquatic management. The Nooksack River and coastal watersheds in Whatcom County provide critical freshwater habitat for endangered Chinook salmon and Steelhead. Whatcom CD offers voluntary and incentive-based services to foster salmon recovery efforts and help landowners steward the land. Woodland and aquatic restoration is critical to recovering wildlife habitat as we face climate change.
